- Neural correlates of nicotine enhancement of reward responsiveness in schizophrenia
Volunteers aged 35 to 55 needed for a research study on the effects of nicotine on brain function. We will be taking pictures of your brain to look at this potential effect. Compensation will be $20 for the screen visit, $70 for the second visit and $100 for the third visit, with a chance to earn up to $50 more on computer tasks.
The study includes:
• One 2-hour screening visit
• Two 6-hour Scan Visits, during which you will complete tasks, questionnaires, and a 1-hour MRI scan
Participants must meet the following criteria:
- Between the ages of 35-55
- No significant medical or psychiatric illness
- Have no metal in your body
